About the safety management system for the operation of Paradise Cruise

Paradise Cruise has the following safety management system so that customers can use it safely and securely.

[Safety policy]

At Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, we believe that "accident prevention" and "ensuring safety" are the biggest and most important issues in shipping business activities, and we will carry out our duties in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, thereby achieving accident-free and disaster-free ship operations while preserving the marine environment.
Furthermore, we aim to provide all visitors to our facility with extraordinary dreams and excitement, and based on our group philosophy, we will contribute to the development of the local community and society and the preservation of the environment, and provide safe and comfortable services.

[Safety priority measures]

1.
We must be thoroughly aware that our number one priority is customer safety.
Encourage passengers to wear life jackets and ensure their safety. When boarding or disembarking, pay attention to prevent passengers from falling or tipping over and supervise them until completion.
2.
Operate the ship by sticking to the basics.
Do not maneuver the ship in an unreasonable manner, and prioritize safe navigation. Do not leave it to the captain alone, but rather have the crew keep a watchful eye as much as possible and avoid danger as early as possible.
3.
Share safety-related information to prevent accidents and disasters before they occur.
Inspections and thorough checks are carried out, proper handover is carried out, and engine troubles, etc. are prevented. Information is exchanged about buoys, ships, and drifting objects on the route.
Check the weather conditions early and exchange information. Communicate with the captain and shore staff to ensure safe docking and undocking.
4.
Inspect and maintain the work environment to prevent accidents and disasters.
Inspection and maintenance of ships (hull, engine, equipment), land facilities (moorings, fenders, boarding passages, etc.)
5.
Identify major risks, detect them early, and prevent marine accidents.
